SOLO is our library catalogue. Use SOLO to find all items available within the libraries, including books, journals, CD-ROMs, DVDs. You can also access e-journals and e-books if you are in a Bodleian library within Oxford.

Using SOLO
SOLO is simple to use. Enter a title, author, and/or subject into the search field. Titles which match your search words will appear in the list of results. To see where an item is located, click on Find & Request. This shows you which library holds the item and where to find it on the shelves.
If none of our libraries have the book you require, you can try to get hold of it through the Bodleian Libraries inter-library loan service.
Your library
You can choose to see only the books and journals that you able to access from your library. Enter your search terms as before but, before you click search, change 'All libraries/collections' to your library. This is especially useful if you use the Horton Library, as you cannot access the University of Oxford e-resource materials from there.
Library account
You can log onto SOLO to view the items you have on loan, see when they are due back, renew items, and reserve items. To log in, you will need your library card number and password. Please speak to a member of staff if you have any questions or difficulties.
